Important Events in her Life:
Hannah has had many ups and downs in her life. She was born in 2363, on a starbase where her mother was assigned. She lived with her mother and older brother Jeremiah on the starbase until Elly was transferred to the USS Manitoba. Hannah's father also managed to get a transfer to the Manitoba, and the family lived together for two years, during which time Elly became pregnant with her third child by Andrew.

Prior to Peter's birth, Elly was transferred for a second time. She and her children were aboard a Starfleet transport to her new assignment shortly before the Battle of Wolf 359. Their transport came under attack by the Borg Cube, and although the ship DID escape once the battle began, it was partially assimilated, as were some of those on board, including Hannah's mother. Elly's partial assimilation was reveresed, however.

Her brother Peter was born in 2367. Hannah and her two brothers continued to live with their mother for two years. At that time, Andrew Soong vanished without a trace. His dissappearance had a major impact on the young family, and Elly eventually found she was unable to handle raising the kids any longer. She sent them to live with their grandparents on Earth.

Hannah and her brothers lived with their grandparents for a couple of years, during which time her mother was assigned to the USS Octavian as the Chief Science Officer. Elley eventually came to terms with her life while serving on the Octavian, and during a visit to Earth she brought the kids back to live with her on the ship.

Almost immediately afterward, the Octavian had a disastrous encounter with a Borg vessel. Elly was assimilated a second time, but this time she tried to help the Borg assimilate the Octavian, and that included an attack on Hannah. That incident left deep scars in Hannah's mind, which she still harbors to this day. Elly was rescued and once agains restored, but the damage was done.

During the family's last year on the Octavian, Hannah's father was relocated. To the family's shock, he had married a former crewmate and had started a new life. Elly was granted a divorce and full custody of the couple's three children, including Hannah.

Soon after, she returned to earth with her mother who was taking up medical studies with Starfleet. They lived there for a little over a year, and when Elly got her MD, she was assigned to the Octavian once more, and took the kids with her again. Not long after, in events that remain unclear to many, her older brother Jeremiah was one of several people killed by a Romulan spy aboard the Octavian.

Time passed, and Hannah noticed that her mother was getting closer to her former assistant, Toroca. It disturbed Hannah greatly, as she didn't entirely trust men thanks to the betrayal she felt toward her father. The two eventually started dating, which infuriated Hannah, and the ultimate indignity came when her mother and Toroca were married.

Her second younger brother, Stephen, was born in 2375. Though Hannah still hadn't really come to accept her stepfather, Stephen's arrival DID soften her resentment to a degree.

Hannah and her two surviving brothers went to live with close family friend Fleet Admiral Andrew Grimm and his children aboard Starbase Avalon Prime when the Octavian was destroyed in 2377. They lived there for a little over three years.

In early 2381, Hannah's mother was given command of her own ship, the medical vessel USS Jonas Salk. Since it is not a combat-oriented vessel, civilians and families are allowed aboard. Hannah is currently living there with her mother and brothers, and is studying to be a Marine Biologist.
