Promotions, Awards, or Commendations:
While her record is unblemished, there isn't really anything that stands out, either. She's an average officer.

Important Events in her Life:
Marcia was born in 2316 in Houston. Her family lived there until she was 8, at which time they relocated to San Francisco. Marcia spent ten years being exposed to the Starfleet Culture of the Bay City, and when she turned 18 she enrolled in the Academy.

Shortly after she started her first year, she met Michael Dimitrius, who was in his fourth year at the time. They fell deeply in love and got married shortly after Marcia turned 20. Michael was serving on Starbase One in Earth orbit at the time, so they were together even though he graduated three years earlier. Soon after her marriage, she was told that due to a genetic complication, she was unable to have children, and there was nothing the doctors could legally do to correct the problem.

She and Michael were devastated by the news, as both wanted children. However, being unable to have their own, they soon turned to adoption agencies, and when she was 24, they adopted a six year old human boy, Jason. Three years later, they adopted a second child, a five year old Vulcan boy named Toroca.

Marcia spent some time serving at Starfleet Headquarters so she could raise the kids in a stable environment. She and Michael were separated for years, seeing each other only on his leaves, but both felt it was worth the pain of separation to make sure Toroca and Jason had a good home life.

When both boys had left the nest and joined Starfleet themselves, Marcia requested a transfer to starship duty and was posted to the USS Hood.Over the next 11 years, she slowly rose through the ranks, eventually gaining the rank of Commander. At that time, she was reassigned to the USS Challenger to serve as its XO. The posting was a dream come true, because Michael was by this time the CO of the Challenger.

When her husband received command of the prototype Dasheter Class Starship, she went with him. Both of them continued to gain rank increases as the years passed. Michael is now a full Fleet Admiral, in charge of Galaxy Wing of the 12th Fleet, from his Flagship the USS Dasheter. Marcia is his chief adjutant, having reached the rank of Admiral herself.

Friends:
They are really too numerous to list, since she generally makes friends with anyone she meets.

Likes:
Almost anything, she dislikes very few things.

Dislikes:
As mentioned, she dislikes very few things, these few being the Dominion, the Borg, and the Cardassians. She is softening toward the Cardassians however, as she feels terrible sorrow over the tremendous loss of life inflicted upon them by their erstwhile former allies, the Dominion.

Goals for Life: Marcia has met all of her life's goals already, which is why she's content. She married a wonderful man, raised a couple of kids to adulthood, and lived to see her first grandchild. These were the things that were most important to her, and if she were to pass away tomorrow, she'd die happy and content with her life, knowing she'd done well for herself and made a diference in the galaxy.
