Personality: Michael is a typical boy, very inquisitive and takes after his mother in his ability to get himself into mischief. He also takes after his father in his sensitivity and concern for his family though - he worries a lot when his mom and dad are on dangerous missions, and he feels it is his responsibility to care for his little sister when his parents aren't around. Like a typical child, however, he also gets into fights and arguments with his sister...

Due to growing up on starships and spacestations with two very career-oriented parents, Michael has picked up a lot and knows a lot about Starfleet and the political situation of the Federation (perhaps more than is good for him), but he also lives a very sheltered life and doesn't really understand concreteley that all life is not as safe and structured as his life within Starfleet seems to be. He is always looking for approval from his parents, and wishes they wouldn't argue so much.
