Personality: Friendly, very professional, but with a wild and somewhat predatory streak. It is often difficult to tell what she is thinking due to her normally guarded nature, but once she considers you a friend, she makes that absolutely clear. She is extremely loyal, but also very curious. In most cases, her training and devotion to doing her duty keep her in line.
Appearance: Medium height, medium build. Not muscle-bound, most of Tahkris' strength comes from her incredibly strong will. Her long dark hair is usually worn loose when she can get away with it. She walks like a tiger, gracefully, and silently.
Physical Health: Excellent. Tahkris however speaks with the aid of an electronic device created by her sister Kahrna after extensive damage to her vocal chords during a childhood incident and posesses an articulated titanium-alloy ribcage after repeated injuries to her torso.
Mental Health: Normal.
Emotional Health: Normal.
Posts and Assignments in Starfleet:
Graduated Academy at young age of 19.
Served one year cadet cruise on the USS Majestic.
Served on USS Triumphant, which disappeared and was listed as Missing in Action against the Maquis.
The Triumphant, renamed Nightshade by the Maquis, reappears four years later and helps Starfleet retake Deep Space
Nine from the Dominion. Most details of this four year period remain highly classified.
Assigned to USS Octavian following a year of department head training at the Academy.
She has been assigned to the Octavian and served on her until her destruction. While awaiting reassignment on Avalon Prime, she went missing without a trace for a period of three months, returning just as mysteriously while her former shipmates, now serving aboard the USS Dragonstar, were on leave. Tahkris appears older and someone troubled by her time away, but is keeping the details to herself. With the consent of Starfleet Command, she was made a part of the Dragonstar's crew, resuming her former position of Chief of Security.
She later became Strategic Operations Officer when the Dragonstar's Special OPS and Security Departments were merged.

She received the Medal of Honor for her help in retaking Deep Space Nine.

Important Events in her Life:
Tahkris was orphaned at the age of twelve when she and her sister Kharna were the only ones to survive the extermination of their family at the hands of Orion pirates. Finding themselves marooned on an uncharted planetoid, Tahkris permanently lost the use of her voice in a near-death struggle to protect her unconscious sister from predators.
They were found by a Federation merchant vessel and brought to Earth where the proud and sometimes troublesome Klingon girls spent their adolescence in a slew of orphanages across Europe and Asia. Partially because of their considerable innate abilities and the skills that they never stopped amassing, and partially to keep them out of trouble, Tahkris and Kahrna were inducted into Starfleet Academy as early as possible where they excelled in their fields, Tahkris in security and Kahrna in engineering.
They began making friends, as they always had, but they were now also beginning to show an at least grudging acceptance to an authority that they could now respect. The friends they made at the Academy would stay with them for the duration of their first two assignments. It was after their top secret four year mission that the gang were finally separated; Tahkris going back to the Academy for department head training, while all her former friends and sister embarked on yet another top secret mission.
Tahkris has seen none of them since, with no word from Starfleet about their status or even any acknowledgment of the mission's existence. Tahkris has since made new friends at the Academy and even more during her time on both the Octavian and Dragonstar, having had her share of both good and bad times in her adventures, but the fears regarding her sister's whereabouts and well being still haunt her as do the darker parts of her mysterious past.
Friends:
Felicia Moldova, Royal Montmigny, Ralph McKeen, Wolfe, V'Olivianna, Celicia Ravenwing, Ania Casey and her daughter Celene Casey. Her friends on the Dragonstar include her boyfriend Simon Wise, Commodore Toroca, Lt. Multrippseral, Lt. Khelan Renshavaris, Ensign Astarramus, Lt. Vhilla, Lt. Cmdr. Bill Goldberg and many others. She will never forget her former shipmates Lt. Ewan Smithicks and former CSO Ari Kirali who have married and retired, nor Janet Caden, a very brave and loyal friend whose life was taken in combat with the Borg.
Likes:
Music, opera especially, tigers, pizza, dancing, bagpipe music, exotic weapons, vintage convertible ground cars, chocolate sundaes, history in general and Fusion-Klingon heritage in particular, the constellation Orion seen from Earth, flying 20th century aircraft and swimming.
Dislikes:
Inconsiderate bullies, racists of all kinds, the inability to commit, hurtful jokes and... TRIBBLES!!
Goals for Life: Tahkris lives for the present, taking each day as it comes, doing her best to keep the universe safe and hoping to one day be reunited with her sister and the friends she has missing in action.
