Personality: Marian is a bright young woman with a vibrant personality. She usually has a smile on her face, but can quickly become serious if the situation requires it. She loves to laugh and has a great sense of humor; she teases her colleagues, but knows when to stop it. Being 1/8 Betazoid, she has only a weak sense of empathy that was never used, and never developed.

Appearance: Marian is a rather tall and thin. She has curly brown hair that falls to her shoulders that she normally keeps back in a ponytail. She has large brown eyes and dusky skin. Her Spanish background is apparent in her appearance and in her slight accent.

Physical Health: Marian is healthy as a horse.

Mental Health: Couldn't be better.

Important Events in her Life:
Marian was the second of three children. Her parents were both architects, and though they encouraged Marian to pursue the arts, she felt that her interests lay in different fields. Throughout her school career, she pursued many different fields, finally settling on science in high school. She joined Starfleet after graduating from high school and graduated from the Academy four years later. She was immediately assigned to the USS Manchester as a Science Officer, where she worked for three years.

Upon accepting a promotion to Lt. jg, she transferred to the USS Octavian where she served as an Astrometrics Technician. She declined the position of Chief Science Officer when Sporak, the Octavian's CSO left, deciding instead to stay in astrometrics. Since that time, she has received a second promotion.
