Personality: Serena is an easy going, but tough girl. She prefers to be in the company of males, rather than females. Serena's mother left when she was only a year old, which meant Serena never had a mother figure in her life. She is extremely close to her father. Since her mother left, Serena has developed a fiercely loyal nature.
Serena's only family has always been just her father, she knows no different and therefore has a hard time talking about family issues. When others start asking her questions about her family, she tends to become quiet and lets them know that it is a sensitive area for her.
Those that are close to Serena know she is a trusting, and loyal friend. She will do whatever needs to be done to protect her friends. The same goes for the crew she works for. She would rather put her life in danger than that of her crewmates.
Appearance: Due to her height, not many people notice Serena until she's right next to them. Although, once she is noticed, the focus tends to be on the unnaturally blue color of her eyes. Serena's dark red hair is usually kept shoulder length, and in a variety of styles.
Although not very noticeable, Serena is muscular, and extremely agile. When confronted in a physical fight, she can maneuver quite quickly around her opponent.
Physical Health: Maintaining physical health is the top priority for Serena. Since she is a security officer, she tends to work out and train as often as possible. Keeping herself healthy is the best way to keep her job. She is one of the first to be in the sickbay if anything unusual is detected in anyway.
Mental Health: Serena's mental health status is also quite important to her. She meditates to keep herself as sane as possible. She tries to not let anything get to her, although stress does get to her if there is a constant high level of it.
Emotional Health: Serena's emotional state is stable, although at times she have troubles sleeping, or doing other activities. This trouble is due to hardships and stress from her childhood, and not having a mother, or mother-figure in her life.

Important Events in her Life:
Serena was born on February 13th, 2352. On April 1st, 2353 her mother left. At first her father thought it was a joke, since she left on April 1st, Earth's day of practical jokes, but as the days became months, it was apparent that she had left for good.
Nothing out of the ordinary happened for Serena; she lived the typical only child of a single parent life, attended the best schools her father could afford to send her to, and took piano and martial arts lessons. When she turned 16, Serena and her father moved into a house, from the small apartment they had been living in since she was born.
Two days after she turned 18, Serena joined Starfleet Academy and set out to become a security officer. Her father wouldn't allow her to do security in any field on Earth, so she outwitted him and signed up to train in security on starships. Her dream was to one day work in the stars.
