Personality: Tannim is a very cheerful person, but starts out as being very reserved around people she is not familiar with. She has a tendency at times to isolate herself away from crowds of people, but is a warm and caring person. After the problems with Yusseff, she's been more quiet and guarded around other people. Tannim spent a brief period of healing on Betazed after the court-martial, and learned that a true Imzadi bond wouldn't shatter likes hers and Yusseff's. And while the knowledge was painful to learn, she's begun to look at it as a chance to grow.

Has the famed "Irish temper", is very focused and disciplined, won't run from a fight, and is fiercely loyal to her friends. She speaks with an Irish lilt to her voice.

Physical Health: Excellent physical health.

Mental Health: Has an intense hatred of the Jem'Hadar. Kole refuses to willingly go see a doctor, due to her parents death and the complications surrounding it. Unless dragged to Sickbay, she will refuse to even set foot in the place. She won’t interact with Medical staff in their work environment either, unless absolutely necessary.

Emotional Health: Has some emotional issues to work through, mainly those related to her former fiancé.

Important Events in her Life:
Kole's mother was a StarFleet Officer who met her husband on a shore leave to Betazed. They were married a year later, and two years after that Duncan and Tannim were born. They lived mostly on starships with their parents, or on various outposts for most of their early years. Being only half Betazoid, she was born possessing natural empathic gifts.

At the age of seven, their parents were killed during a freak shuttle craft accident. The doctors couldn't do anything to save either of them, and young Tannim developed a serious mistrust of doctors due to that incident. They were sent to live on Earth with their grandfather in Ireland, until both siblings entered Starfleet Academy together. Duncan concentrated on becoming a Starfleet Medical Officer (which helped greatly to lessen Tannim's mistrust of them) and Tannim chose Security instead. Both twins graduated in the top 10% of their class. She served briefly on station Deep Space 3, then was reassigned as the temporary head of security on Betazed, before her permanent reassignment to the USS Masada.

Just prior to her re-assignment to the Masada, she learned that Duncan had been killed during a battle involving the Dominion and the Jem'Hadar. Due to the bond between her and her twin, the backlash felt upon his death by Kole somehow triggered the rest of her latent Betazoid abilities. She is fully telepathic, and her abilities rival even those of the strongest talents possessed by those of full Betazoid heritage. She declined to let Starfleet Medical examine her, to try and further determine the extent of her new abilities, and the reasons for this occurring. She still has an intense hatred of the Jem'Hadar, but has gradually learned to control her hatred over the years.

Kole spent two years serving aboard the Masada under the command of Kiara Priest. After Priest was promoted to Admiral and eventually chose to resign as CO, Kole requested a transfer to Deep Space 11. There had been several problems with a doctor that came aboard with the new CO (Cody Barnes) that infuriated Kole, namely that doctor's refusal to follow the of the Chain of Command and her belief that she ran the entire ship. Also requesting reassignment at the same time were Colonel Amin ben Yusseff, and several of his marines.

After completing the Starfleet Intelligence program, she and Yusseff were briefly stationed aboard Starbase Armageddon, before being reassigned to the USS Acheron.

After a very brief stint on the Acheron, she was recalled back to Starbase Armageddon to serve as the station’s Chief Security Officer. Her relationship with Yusseff was steadily degrading, mostly due to ego, and refusal to commit. Yusseff had been participating in more and more Black Ops missions, often gone for months at a time. They had finally set a date for their wedding, but Yusseff kept postponing it and running off on yet another secret mission. And then came the final blow...

During an attack on the base, all of the comm units on the Station had been cut. Tannim used their mental link to try and talk to Yusseff to determine his situation. He shoved her out of his mind, and ordered her to never do it again. In that moment, it shattered whatever remained of their being Imzadi. Yusseff had turned into someone she didn’t know, and she had decided enough was enough. He ordered her unit into an extremely dangerous situation, almost suicidal. Tannim countermanded the order, and saved the lives of her detachment. When Yusseff found out, he threatened to bring her up on charges of insubordination and for a court-martial. When she questioned how he had turned into such a cold hearted killing machine, he stuck her across the face with his armored glove. She went immediately to their quarters and started packing her things. Yusseff followed and tried to physically stop her. She managed to break free from him, and grabbed her phaser in case he tried to hit her again, intending to stun him. However she accidentally grabbed one of the phasers he had modified. When she fired, she almost killed him.

After the Starfleet inquiry and court-martial hearing, Tannim requested that she be restationed aboard a Starship. She took a voluntary demotion to Commander in order to get her an immediate placement aboard a vessel, and away from Yusseff and Omega Sector.

Kole served a brief stint aboard the USS Bismark, marking her return to Tango Fleet. She was only there for a few months, before asking for reassignment.

She was assigned as Chief of Security at Starbase 19, but demoted due to several incidents involving problems between herself and another member of the crew. She was broken in rank and reassigned to Starbase 31, only to end up in trouble with the station's CO, a former friend of Yusseff.

After yet another reduction in rank, Kole was finally transferred to try and start anew, out on USS Dragonstar. Starfleet officials hope that being assigned to a still-turbulent region of space, as part of Starfleet's Beta Quadrant Border Patrol Division, will help Kole to get her act together.

Miscellaneous: Kole trained and was rated in Marine Power Armor Training, under the supervision of Colonel Amin ben Yusseff. She has refused to wear it since she left Starbase Armageddon.
