Welcome! Here you will find all of the regions I've created for myself and have decided to share with others. I may at some point begin hosting terrains created by others, but for now they're just mine. If you'd like to suggest one for me to create or send one of your own, you can email me at simcity4@ussdragonstar.com.
You can also let me know if you have any gripes with my terrains. I haven't been to most of these locations, so I don't know how accurate (or INaccurate) some of these are. Also, in some cases there are minor glitches in the terrains, most often on the maps where I've had to add the rivers in myself. These minor glitches are usually easy to correct in God Mode, but I may make updated terrains in the future for these maps.
If you want me to host one of your own, you'll need to include a screenshot in your email. DO NOT send me the actual terrain file, I will request that if I approve your terrain for hosting here. Also, your screenshot needs to be less than 50K or there's a good chance I'll reject it. Furthermore, your map MUST be in my standard size, which is 5 by 5 large maps, or 1281 by 1281 for the terrain file's dimensions.
Now, on with the terrains!
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS - If you already know how to install a terrain, you can skip this page, otherwise you'll need to read this to get started.
CONFIG FILES - None of these terrains comes packaged with a config file, so unless you plan to make your own, you'll need to pick one of the seven possibilities from this page.
FUTURE TERRAINS - When I activate it, this page will list terrains I plan to create in the near future.
USEFUL LINKS - When I activate it, this page will contain links to other terrain sites, useful tools, guides, and similar things.

| Astoria is in northwestern Oregon, located on the coast. This map has plenty of water, some flat land, and some hilly areas. It should be easy to develop a good-sized and geographically interesting city on this terrain. |
| Boise, Idaho |

| Boise is a major city in Idaho, a state known for potato production. There is a large area of nice, relatively flat land suitable for development, and there are also some good mountains to provide some variety. |
| Cannon Beach, Oregon |

| Cannon Beach is in west-central Oregon, on the Pacific coast. This terrain has a lot of hilly and mountainous areas in the center, surrounded by some large flat areas. |
| Estes Park, Colorado |

Terrain File |
| Estes Park is a popular Colorado tourist city. It's nestled at the base of some of the most impressive mountains in Colorado, and in fact at the very foot of Rocky Mountain National Park. With this terrain, you can try your hand at developing the high mountain passes along Trail Ridge Road, the highest continuously paved highway in the world. There is very little flat land in this terrain. |
| Lincoln, Nebraska |

| Lincoln is the capital of Nebraska, and its second-largest city. The most prominent feature of this map is the Platte River. |
| Omaha, Nebraska |

| Omaha is the largest city in Nebraska, located roughly where the Platte River joins the Missouri. Just across the Missouri River is Council Bluffs, Iowa. Omaha is the home of the United States' Strategic Air Command (SAC). |

| Washington, D.C. is of course, the capital of the United States, and one of its most well-known cities. Many of the landmarks in SC4 hail from this city. |

| US Cities/Metropolitan Areas |
| Colorado |
| Alamosa |

Terrain File |
| Alamosa is located in a valley between two mountain ranges. In this terrain, there are edges of these mountain ranges on each side and a few small hills in the middle, but most of the terrain is relatively flat, allowing for a sprawling metropolis. There is no water on this terrain, as it is landlocked. |
| Colorado Springs |

Terrain File |
| Colorado Springs is the second largest Metropolitan Area in Colorado. This map encompasses the entire Springs area, as well as a significant amount of mountainous terrain to the west. The highest peak on this terrain is Pike's Peak. This map is roughly half mountain, half plains. Plenty of room to build, and when space gets tight you can start spreading into the mountains and foothills. There is no water on this terrain. |
| Denver |

Terrain File |
| Denver boasts the largest Metropolitan Area in a 600 mile radius - an area almost the size of Europe. This map contains almost the entire Denver Metro Area, as well as a slice of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. North and South Table Mountain are evident, as well as Dinosaur Ridge (also known as the Morrison Formation) running just east of the Front Range. There's plenty of level land in the east for building your dream city on. There is no water. |
| Leadville |
Kyle Soderholm |

Terrain File |
| Leadville is one of Colorado's major ski towns. Thousands flock to this city every year to enjoy the easy access to the region's ski slopes. The central portion of this map features a large valley, surrounded by mountains. Somewhat restrictive for a large city, but definately not impossible. There is no water. |
| Montrose |

Terrain File |
| Montrose is a small town in the eastern portion of Colorado. There is a great deal of relatively flat land in the Northwest of this map, and the rest is bordered by mountains and canyons. There is no water. |
| Vail |

Terrain File |
| Vail is one of Colorado's best-known cities, being a prime ski-town. It's located in a river valley among many mountains. This map has very little flat ground on which to build, so building a massive metropolis will not be easy. But, it won't be impossible either. There is no water on this map. |
| Miscellaneous Regions |
| The Four Corners Area |

Terrain File |
| The Four Corners is the one place in the United states where four family members can stand in four different states and still be within arm's reach of each other. It is located where the corners of Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico meet. This map is relatively flat, and contains a river as its most prominent feature. |
| Yellowstone National Park |
Kyle Soderholm |

Terrain File |
| Yellowstone was the nation's first National Park, and is still one of the largest. This map represents roughly one quarter to one third of Yellowstone. It has a relatively large lake, many mountains, some flat areas suitable for building, and a canyon or two. Definately an interesting terrain on which to build. |
